The best time to visit Kaziranga depends on the type of wildlife you want to spot there:

Peak Season: Winter (November – April)

This is the best time to visit Kaziranga National Park because the temperature ranges from 8°C to 25°C, which is perfect for enjoying safari rides. A lot of people book their safaris for this season. Animals come to the grassland area to bask in the sun, and you can spot them easily.  Furthermore, a lot of migratory birds visit the area and attract the bird watchers to come here.

The crowd remains moderate during this time, and the temperature ranges from 25°C to 37°C. During this time, the weather can be hot, and it can become a little bit difficult to enjoy your safari. However, this time gives the perfect chances of wildlife sightings because the animals come near water bodies to cool off and drink water from them. Closed Season: Monsoon (July – October)

During this season, the park remains closed because of the heavy rainfall in this area. Kaziranga is located along the Brahmaputra River, and it causes flooding during this time, so safaris are not conducted. The area can become risky for tourism because of the overflow water from the Brahmaputra, so you cannot enter the park during this time.

Kazirnaga National Park is divided into four main ranges, and each of them offers a unique experience:

1.Kohora Zone
