You can visit the Tsunami Monument, made to remember people who died in the 2004 tsunami. Jumhooree Maidan is a public square where people meet in the evening. The National Mosque is a large mosque with a beautiful design. Hukuru Miskiy, or Old Friday Mosque, is one of the oldest mosques in the Maldives, made of coral stone. Sultan Mosque is also important and has a golden dome. You can relax at the beach after sightseeing or go shopping. There are small shops where you can buy souvenirs and local products. You will return to the resort in the evening, have dinner, and stay overnight.
