Your tour journey with Daily Tour & Travel starts the moment you arrive in Delhi. One of our representatives will meet you at the airport, and escort you to your hotel in a comfortable car. You can rest in your room and have tea or coffee. In the evening, you will go on a brief tour of Delhi, which is the capital of India. On this tour, you will go to some places and experience how busy and crowded the streets in this city can be. Then you can have dinner at a famous restaurant in Delhi. And, at the end of dinner, you will return back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After your hotel breakfast, our representative will drop you off at the airport for your flight to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. On arrival at Srinagar airport, our local representative will receive you. You shall move straight to your houseboat, where you will be staying during your visit. After getting settled, you could just relax and rest in this peaceful atmosphere. Late afternoon is a time to enjoy the boat ride in a Shikara on Dal Lake. You can get an excellent view of the lake and mountains on either side during the ride. In the evening, you can enjoy Wazwaan, the traditional Kashmiri meal, served with special dishes. Then you stay overnight in your houseboat where you spend some quiet time after dinner.

On day 3 of your Srinagar sightseeing tour, you will go to many famous places in Srinagar. Our representative will take you sightseeing after you have your breakfast. The first place that you will visit is Shankaracharya Temple. This temple is on a hill so you will be able to see a panoramic view of this city. Then you will visit Mughal gardens like Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi, famous for their excellent design and lush greenery. You can also visit Nehru Park and, in the right season, the Tulip Garden, which has many colorful flowers. In the evening, you will have free time to visit Srinagar’s local markets. You can buy Kashmiri handicrafts, pashmina shawls, and dry fruits. After shopping, you will return to your houseboat, have dinner, and stay overnight.

After having breakfast, you will proceed to Gulmarg, which is one of the popular hill stations with green meadows and snow-covered mountains. The distance from Srinagar to Gulmarg can be covered in 2-3 hours (approx.) by road. You can ride horses when you reach Gulmarg. There is also an option for a Gondola ride, which is a cable car. This Gondola is one of the highest and longest cable rides in Asia. It can take you from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg with beautiful views of snow-covered mountains. In the evening, you will return back from Gulmarg to Srinagar and have dinner followed by an overnight stay at the houseboat.

On the fifth day of your Srinagar sightseeing tour, you will travel to Sonmarg, a well-known tourist destination. After having breakfast at the houseboat, you will begin your journey to Sonmarg by road. During the journey, you will pass through many small villages in Kashmir. This will allow you to see the daily life of the local people and observe their culture. Sonmarg is renowned for its amazing natural environment, fresh air, and greenery. After reaching Sonmarg, you will get an opportunity to visit Thajiwas Glacier, one of the attractions in this place. Visitors generally enjoy a horse ride here, which is quite thrilling. Sonmarg is a very peaceful place where you can spend your time in a quiet atmosphere. You will return to Srinagar by road in the evening. Once you reach Srinagar, you will check into your hotel. Later, you will have dinner at the hotel and stay overnight there.

The sixth day is also for seeing Srinagar. This is a free day for your own activities. You can visit the local markets and buy some products of Kashmir such as Paper Mache items, Kangari, dry fruits, almonds, walnuts, saffron, woolen clothes, Pashmina shawls, sweaters, carpets, wood carvings, and jewelry. In the evening, you can walk around Srinagar and try the local street food. This city has many tasty dishes. After spending your time there, you can have dinner at a traditional restaurant. Then you will return to the hotel and stay overnight. You can spend this day of your long weekend Kashmir tour according to your preference and visit various places in this city.

This is the last day of your seven-day Srinagar Mazza Tour. In the morning, after having breakfast at the hotel, our representative from Daily Tour & Travel will take you to Srinagar Airport. From there, you will board a flight to Delhi. After reaching Delhi, you will continue your journey back to your home.
