Day 1. Haridwar To Uttarkashi

Your Teen Dham Yatra starts in Haridwar. When you arrive in Haridwar, a representative from Daily Tour & Travel will meet you. They will welcome you and guide you for the journey. From Haridwar, you will travel to Uttarkashi by road in a comfortable vehicle as included in your Teen Dham Yatra booking. The journey will take several hours, and you will pass through hills and rivers on the way. Once you reach Uttarkashi, you will go to the hotel. After reaching the hotel, you will check in and take some rest.


The hotel will have basic facilities to make your stay comfortable. In the evening, you can visit the Vishwanath Temple, which is a very famous temple in Uttarkashi. Here, you can offer prayers and spend some time inside the temple. After visiting the temple, you will return to the hotel. You can have dinner at the hotel and then rest for the night. You will stay overnight at the hotel before continuing the journey the next day.


Day 2. Uttarkashi To Gangotri And Back To Uttarkashi

In the morning, you will have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you will travel to Gangotri by road. The journey to Gangotri will take a few hours, and you will see mountains, rivers, and forests during your travel. The road is well-connected, and the drive will be comfortable. When you reach Gangotri, you can go to the Bhagirathi River. This river is very sacred in Hinduism. Many people believe that taking a bath in this river removes sins and brings blessings.


You can take a holy bath here if you want. After that, you can visit the Gangotri Temple. People believe that River Ganga first came to Earth at this place. You can offer prayers inside the temple and spend some peaceful time there. In the afternoon, you will return to Uttarkashi by road. After reaching Uttarkashi, you will go back to the hotel. You can have dinner at the hotel and stay overnight before continuing your journey.


Day 3. Uttarkashi To Guptkashi

You can have breakfast at the hotel in the morning. After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and start your journey to Guptkashi. The journey will take a few hours as you travel by road through the mountains and valleys. Guptkashi is a very old town and has been mentioned in Hindu religious books like the Mahabharata. Many people believe that Guptkashi is as holy as Varanasi (Kashi).


Because of this, many pilgrims visit this town every year. When you reach Guptkashi, you will go to the hotel. After reaching the hotel, you will check in and take some rest. If you want, you can also explore the town in the afternoon. The place is peaceful, and you can see local temples and markets. You will go back to the hotel in the evening. You can have dinner at the hotel and then stay overnight before continuing the next day.


Day 4. Guptkashi To Sonprayag To Kedarnath

You will have your breakfast in the morning at your hotel. After breakfast, you will check out and start your journey to Sonprayag by road. The journey will take time, and you'll pass mountains and rivers. After reaching Sonprayag, you can begin your journey to the Kedarnath Temple. The temple is about 21 km away. You can reach Kedarnath by walking, by palanquin (doli), or by riding a horse.


The journey will take several hours, depending on the mode of travel. When you reach Kedarnath, you will check in at a government camp or lodge. The accommodation will be simple but comfortable. You can rest after the long journey. In the evening, you can have dinner at the camp or lodge. You will stay overnight there before visiting the Kedarnath Temple early the next morning.


Day 5. Kedarnath To Sonprayag To Guptkashi / Rudraprayag

The day will start early in the morning. You will take a bath and get ready to visit the Kedarnath Temple as part of your Teen Dham Yatra booking. You should reach the temple by 4:45 AM to attend the Abhishek ceremony of Lord Shiva. Many pilgrims visit at this time to offer prayers and seek blessings. After prayers, you will return to your camp or lodge. You can take some rest before starting your return journey. You will then begin the 21-km trek back to Sonprayag. The journey may take several hours, depending on how you travel. From Sonprayag, a vehicle will take you back to Guptkashi or Rudraprayag. After reaching the hotel, you will check in, have dinner, and stay overnight before continuing your Gangotri Badrinath Kedarnath Yatra.

Day 6. Guptkashi / Rudraprayag To Joshimath To Badrinath

After having an early breakfast on the sixth day of your Gangotri Badrinath Kedarnath Yatra, check out from the hotel and start traveling to Badrinath through Joshimath. The road to Badrinath passes through mountains and valleys. The journey may take several hours. After reaching Badrinath, check in at the hotel and rest for some time. Visit the Badrinath Temple in the evening for darshan. Spend some time in the temple, offer prayers, and take blessings. After completing the visit, return to the hotel. Have dinner at the hotel and rest for the night. This will help in preparing for the next day’s journey. The day includes travel, hotel check-in, temple visit, and rest. Day 7. Badrinath To Joshimath To Rudraprayag / Srinagar

On the morning of Day 7, go to the Badrinath Temple once again for darshan. After praying, go back to the hotel and have breakfast. Following breakfast, explore the famous locations in Badrinath. To begin with, go to Mana Village, which is the nearest village to the India-Tibet border. Next, go to Vyas Gufa, a cave in which the Ved Vyas wrote the Mahabharata. Then, go to Ganesh Gufa, where Lord Ganesha is said to have written the Mahabharata as Ved Vyas dictated.


Finally, go to Mata Murti Temple, which is for the Mother of Lord Vishnu. After sightseeing, begin the tour to Rudraprayag from Karnaprayag. The journey is through hills and valleys. Upon arrival at Rudraprayag, rest at the hotel after checking in. In the evening, move around Rudraprayag independently. You can go to the local market or nearby locations. Then you can come back to the hotel, have dinner, and spend the night.


Day 8. Rudraprayag / Srinagar To Rishikesh To Haridwar

Wake up early and have breakfast. After breakfast, start traveling to Rishikesh by road. Rishikesh is an important pilgrimage town. It is known for its temples, ghats, and the River Ganga. Many people also visit Rishikesh for river rafting. After reaching Rishikesh, visit the famous Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. These are well-known suspension bridges over the River Ganga. Spend some time exploring the area. In the evening, start the journey to Haridwar. The travel from Rishikesh to Haridwar will take some time. After reaching Haridwar, you will be dropped off at the Haridwar Railway Station. This will be the end of your Teen Dham Yatra booking with Daily Tour & Travel.
