This Do Dham Yatra Package is for 3 nights and 4 days and offers the pilgrims to visit two sacred Dhams out of the Char Dhams. Through this Do Dham Yatra by Helicopter, you can go to the Kedarnath Temple and Badrinath Temple and take blessings. This Do Dham Tour Booking also includes a VIP darshan at both temples and the opportunity to enjoy the Maha Abhishek Puja at Badrinath Jee and Rudra Abhishek Puja at Kedarnath Jee. In these 3 nights and 4 days, you’ll stay in nice accommodations and have delicious Satvik vegetarian food. You can experience the spiritual vibes of both Dhams and a dedicated assistant will be there with you at every step.

Do Dham Yatra by Helicopter in 4 days
Day 1. Dehradun Arrival and Relaxation

To enjoy the facilities of your Do Dham Yatra Package, you have to arrive at the Jolly Grand Airport of Dehradun and the representative of Daily Tour & Travel will pick you up from there. He will warmly welcome you and drop you at the pre-booked hotel of Dehradun. Upon arrival, you will be required to check in and then you can refresh. After a long journey, you can relax for this day and have a nice time according to your liking. You can explore the attractions nearby if you like, just make sure to come back to your hotel at night at the time of dinner. Sleep for the night in your comfortable rooms.

Day 2. Dehradun to Guptkashi to Kedarnath

On the second day of your Do Dham Yatra by Helicopter, have a nice breakfast in the morning and then take a drive to Sahastradhara Helipad of Dehradun. You will be required to reach this helipad by 11:30 hours so that you can take a chopper to Sersi Helipad (this helipad is in Guptkashi and this is the only spot from where you can take a helicopter to Kedarnath). After reaching the Sersi helipad, you will take a shuttle service to Kedarnath because private helicopters are not allowed there.

After reaching the Kedarnath Helipad, the representative of Daily Tour & Travel will meet you there and you can do VIP Darshan there that will be pre-arranged for you. You can spend around 2 to 3 hours in the calming vibes of Kedarnath Dham. After some time, you will be required to take a shuttle service again to Sersi. From the Sersi, guests will take a drive to the pre-booked hotel in Guptkashi. There, you will stay for the night.


Note: Your hotel will be in Guptkashi and you will go to Kedarnath helipad through a shuttle service from the Sersi helipad of Guptkashi. In case a flight is delayed due to NOTAM/delayed clearances/bad weather, etc then the team of Daily Tour & Travel will inform you in advance so that you can come to the respective helipad on time.

Day 3. Guptkashi to Badrinath Temple

The third day of your tour will start with having a delicious breakfast in your hotel at Guptkashi. From there, you have to check out early and reach the Sersi Helipad on time so that you can depart from there by 1 PM to reach Badrinath Helipad. Upon reaching there, the representative of Daily Tour & Travel will take you to the pre-booked hotel that will be included in your Do Dham Tour Booking.

At the hotel, you have to check in and then you can enjoy a delicious lunch. Then, go out and visit the Badrinath Dham to take blessings. You can spend some calming time there and then visit the attractions like Mana Village which is the last Indian village near the China border, and the local markets of this area. You can also enjoy an evening aarti known as Swarna/Chandi Aarti at Badrinath Ji which will cost you extra. After a nice day, return to your hotel in Badrinath and stay overnight there in the peaceful surroundings.

Day 4. Badrinath to Sahastradhara Helipad

This will be the last day of your Do Dham Yatra Package. Start this day with a nice breakfast and then check out from the hotel on time. On this day of your Do Dham Yatra by Helicopter, you’ll get to enjoy the nice views from Helicopter for one last time. You will board the chipper from Badrinath Helipad to  Sahastradhara Helipad by 12:45 hours. You are expected to reach Sahastradhara Helipad by 2:30 PM. Upon reaching there, the team of Daily Tour & Travel will be there to receive you and drop you at the hotel or airport according to your onward journey.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

  • A) Cancellation Charges 

    Please inform us in writing if you need to cancel your tour/travel/yatra for unavoidable reasons. Please note that cancellation charges will apply when we receive your written notification. The following cancellation policy will be enforced:


  • More than 35 days before the departure date: 35% of the total charter amount.
  • Between 15 to 35 days before the departure date: 60% of the total charter amount.
  • Between 08 to 14 days before the departure date: 75% of the total charter amount.
  • Up to the 7th day before the departure date: No Refund
  • No show: No Refund
  • Bad weather: Full refund for the unutilized sector(s), minus INR 40,000 for flight preparation and ground arrangement charges.
  • B) Refund in Case of COVID-19 or National/State Emergency
  • If any of our guests test positive for  COVID-19 before travel or the Yatra and it is canceled by the government due to a national or state emergency, no cash refund will be provided.
  • Refund will not be given but the passengers will be provided a Credit Voucher for the full amount of the advance paid that will be valid for a year.
  • The credit voucher that will be issued, can be utilized for any of our helicopter tours or charter services. Anyone can use the voucher, the same person, or their friends and relatives.
  • C) Bad Weather & Force Majeure Policy
  • If the flight is delayed or canceled due to bad weather, technical issues, or any force majeure reason beyond our control then Daily Tour & Travel will not be responsible for it. Refunds will be given according to the refund policy.
  • Daily Tour & Travel will not be responsible for providing any compensation for hotel, accommodation, transportation, meals, and other travel expenses incurred due to flight cancellation.
  • If the tour cannot depart from Dehradun at the scheduled time due to bad weather or other issues then the team of Daily Tour & Travel will suggest a revised itinerary within the duration of this package without exceeding the days.
  • If flights do not operate for the entire day, the tour will be treated as canceled, and a full refund will be provided according to our policy.
  • If you want to reschedule the tour to any next available date then a fresh booking can be made according to the availability. However, any kind of additional cost will be given by the passenger in such a situation and we offer the tourists to use any balance or unutilized amount from the previous booking.
  • Passengers scheduled for departure from Dehradun on a new travel date will be given priority over passengers from previous canceled departures.
  • If the tour takes place as scheduled but midway it gets disrupted because of bad weather or other issues then the team of Daily Tour & Travel will provide a revised itinerary. That itinerary will be made within the scheduled package days and the duration of the package will not be extended.
  • If you request an extension of the package beyond the scheduled itinerary then it will be done at an extra cost and it will depend on the operational feasibility.
  • If you want to stay for a night additionally then extra charges will be paid by the passengers directly to the hotel. No matter even if you’re staying because of bad weather or anything else.
  • If passengers require an emergency ferry flight then an extra cost will be charged at ₹1,30,000/hr plus GST amount.
  • If there is any increase in government taxes, levies, or Temple Authority prices after booking confirmation, the extra charges will be given by the tourist before the start of this tour.
  • D) Kedarnath Bad Weather Disclaimer
  • Kedarnath experiences bad weather from time to time and it frequently disrupts helicopter services. Passengers may have to stay overnight at the Kedarnath top.
  • When these cases happen, the team of Daily Tour & Travel will try to arrange accommodation at the guest houses but the availability there is not guaranteed.
  • The guests will pay the accommodation charges directly to the hotel in case they stay at Kedarnath Top for the night.
  • If you’re forced to stay at the top then no refund will be given for the pre-booked stay at Sersi.
  • Guest houses at the Kedarnath are very basic. They don’t have facilities like hot water, clean bedding, or proper hygiene.
  • At the Kedarnath Top, guest houses are very basic but because of bad weather and other conditions when people stay there, the charges remain usually high.
  • Kindly be prepared for these conditions when you go on a Do Dham Yatra by Helicopter to Kedarnath.
  • If passengers get stuck for additional nights due to bad weather or other unavoidable reasons, they will need to pay the extra accommodation charges directly to the hotel. These charges will be over and above the 2-night/3-day Do Dham Yatra Package period.

Important Information: 

Tourists are requested to kindly keep in mind that the timings and itinerary that are written above are not final. The schedule of this itinerary can change because of weather conditions and also by the clearance from the Air Force and Civil Aviation, VIP movements, flying restrictions by the Indian Air Force (NOTAM), technical issues with the helicopter, crew health issues, or if guests arrive late at the helipad.

ADD-ON SERVICES

1. Maha Abhishek Puja at Badrinath Jee

  • If you want to take this service then you have to pay the whole amount of Maha Abhishek Puja in cash to the representative of Daily Tour & Travel when you reach Dehradun. 

  • We will arrange the pooja and book it in advance on behalf of all the guests. 

  • Note: The cost of Maha Abhishek pooja will not be included in the Do Dham Tour Booking or in the billing amount. We will make this whole payment to the Badrinath Ji Mandir Samiti.


2. Rudra Abhishek Puja at Kedarnath Jee

  • If you want to take this service then you have to pay the whole amount of  Rudra Abhishek Puja in cash to the representative of Daily Tour & Travel when you reach Dehradun. 

  • We will arrange the pooja and book it in advance on behalf of all the guests. 

  • If you want to take part in Rudra Abhishek Puja then you have to stay at the Kedarnath top at night and the arrangement of the puja depends on the availability of rooms there. 

  • According to our itinerary, we will take you back to Sersi from Kedarnath for an overnight stay. However, if you want to stay at Kedarnath for the night because of Rudra Abhishek Puja then it will cost extra paid directly by the passenger. 

  • Note: The cost of Rudra Abhishek pooja will not be included in the Do Dham Tour Booking or in the billing amount. We will make this whole payment to the Kedarnath Ji Mandir Samiti.

  • Note: The accommodations at the Kedarnath top are basic and they do not meet the basic facilities like hot water, nice bedding, and hygiene. Complaints may arise while staying there but we will not be responsible for it. 

  • Note: If you’re making a booking for this Do Dham Yatra by Helicopter Tour for the months of September and October then let us tell you that the temperature at Kedarnath-Top may drop to sub-zero levels at night. Passengers are advised to consider this before deciding to stay overnight.

    TERMS, CONDITIONS AND GUIDELINES

    FIXED FLIGHT TIMINGS 

    This itinerary is written according to the daily fixed departure helicopter tour, and the departure timings for each destination are fixed. The guests are requested to reach the location as per the scheduled departure times each day. If a guest fails to report on time then this situation will be considered NO - SHOW.   


    However, the company reserves the right to change or postpone the timings of your helicopter ride because of the weather conditions or Force Majeure Events.


    MEDICAL EMERGENCIES 

    Daily Tour &  Travel is not responsible for any medical emergency during the trip. The guests are strongly advised to consult a doctor and get a health check-up before starting the Char Dham yatra. A medical check-up is especially important for guests with any kind of existing health issues or concerns. 


    COVID TRAVEL GUIDELINES

    Passengers and the tour team must follow the COVID-19 guidelines set by the government. If a passenger does not follow these guidelines then it can lead to denial of their boarding without any refund.

    HELICOPTER WEIGHT POLICY 

    1. Helicopter Weight Limitation

    • The maximum weight capacity of a helicopter without the baggage is 450kg. Boarding on the helicopter totally depends on the total load and weather conditions. During the Do Dham Tour Booking, it is important for the guests to provide their exact body weight.

    • If the total weight exceeds the helicopter’s capacity, passengers may be deboarded and their tour will get canceled without a refund. 


    2. Passenger Weights

    • During making a booking for this Do Dham Yatra by Helicopter, passengers must submit their correct body weights. 

    • If your actual weight at the time of travel exceeds the declared weight and it causes the total load to exceed 450 kg then you will get deboarded and the tour will be canceled without any refund. 

    • Make sure to provide the right weight because your Do Dham Yatra depends on it. 


    3. Overweight Charges (Per Seat Basis Only)

    • Overweight charges apply at INR 2,500/kg for passengers weighing above 75 kg. These charges will be taken from the passengers weighing above 75kg. 

    • Extra weight will only be calculated if the total weight of the group exceeds the total permissible weight, which is calculated as: Permissible weight = 75 kg × (Number of passengers)

    • If any kind of discrepancy is found in the weight of passengers then extra charges will be taken as per the overweight criteria. 

    • The extra charges will be collected from the passenger before boarding the flight.


    4. Penalty for Incorrect Weight Declaration

    • If the passenger’s actual weight is higher than the declared weight, they will have to pay a penalty of INR 20,000. Along with this, extra weight charges will also apply as per the rules. Passengers will only be allowed to go on a helicopter if the total weight is within the helicopter’s safe limit. 

    • Passengers are advised to declare their correct weight (including clothes and shoes) to avoid any kind of penalties. 

    • Kindly note that while submitting the body weights, please keep in view that you submit the final weight on a higher side. Add the extra weight of your clothes and also shoes so that you don’t have to face any inconvenience. 


    5. Baggage Allowance

    • Every passenger who makes a booking for this Do Dham Yatra Package will be allowed to carry one baggage weighing a maximum of 5 kg. Any kind of suitcases or large bags are not allowed in the helicopter. 

    • Passengers are requested to carry a duffle bag with only 2–3 dresses and essentials like a mobile phone, charger, and medicines.

    • The weight of your bags will be checked at all the Dhams and if it exceeds 5kg then a penalty of INR 500 per kg will be charged. Also, the extra weight of baggage will only be allowed if the helicopter’s weight limit allows.

    • If the excess baggage exceeds the permissible limit, it will be offloaded and not transported further. (Passengers are advised to pack thoughtfully to avoid inconvenience.)


    6. Seating Capacity

    • The maximum seating capacity of people in a helicopter is 6 passengers + 1 crew.

    • If the weight of the helicopter increases than the safe limit then we may shuffle passengers between helicopters. Managing the helicopter’s weight for safe flying in the hills is important. 

    • The passengers who are traveling together might not be accommodated on the same flight.   


    7. Infants Information 

    • For children below 2 years or 12kg are accommodated free of cost. You don’t have to pay their helicopter charges. 

    • For the verification of their age, ID proof or a birth certificate of the child will be required during the travel. 

    BAD WEATHER & FORCE MAJEURE DISCLAIMER

    • Tourists are requested to kindly keep in mind that flying in the hills depends on weather conditions and other unavoidable situations like delayed air traffic clearances/permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying restrictions by Indian Air Force (NOTAM), technical issues in the aircraft, illness of flying crew or late reporting of passengers at helipads. It is advised to the passengers to be prepared for any delays or changes due to these factors.

    • The order of visiting the Dhams may change depending on weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstances.

    • We advise the travelers to be prepared and keep an additional day at hand beyond this 3-night and 4-day tour. We want you to keep an additional day at hand to avoid inconvenience in case passengers get stuck at any of the destinations. They can stuck there due to bad weather or force majeure scenarios. 

    HOTEL & ROOM POLICY

    • Hotels and rooms are subject to sudden changes based on availability.

    • Rooms in the hotel will be booked on a double or triple-sharing basis only.

    • For a single occupancy room, an extra charge of INR 40,000/person (tax inclusive) will apply.

    • Hotels at all Dhams are non-star category, but we ensure the most comfortable and highly rated properties are selected.

    ESSENTIAL INFORMATION FOR TOURISTS

    • Any expenses for donations, tips, Pitthu (carrying service), or porter charges will be paid directly by the guest.

    • Indian passengers are requested to provide a copy of their AADHAR CARD and on the other hand, and Foreign nationals should provide a copy of their Passport at the time of booking. 

    • The network connectivity at both Dhams is poor. Only BSNL and Jio are the primary telecom providers there, but their service is always not guaranteed. 

    • The staff of Daily Tour & Travel will be available at all locations to assist passengers at all times.

    • Both the Kedarnath temple and Badrinath temple are located at high altitudes so passengers are advised to carry essential medicines and pack heavy woolen clothing as temperatures can drop drastically during evenings and nights. 

    • Aerial Photography is Strictly Prohibited - The passengers are not allowed to take photographs from the helicopter during the flight. It is illegal and punishable by the law and also photography at the helipad is also strictly prohibited.

    CARRIAGE BY AIR ACT, 1972

    • The helicopter service follows the rules mentioned in the Carriage by Air Act, of 1972.

    • The company's responsibility for any harm caused during air travel, including the death or injury of a passenger or damage to their registered baggage, will be handled according to the rules outlined in sections 4, 5, and 6 of the Carriage by Air Act, 1972. The terms and conditions mentioned in the second schedule of this Act will apply, including any exceptions, adjustments, or changes notified by the Government of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation, and as updated from time to time.

    RESCHEDULING OF BOOKING 

    • Rescheduling of booking to the next date or any future date will be done on the basis of availability and on the payment of 10% of the tour cost. This will be permitted only if informed 35 days before the arrival date. 

    • If you request to reschedule your booking less than 35 days before the travel date, your current booking will be considered canceled. A new booking can be made based on availability, but you will need to pay the applicable cancellation charges.

Legal Disputes

  • Any disputes regarding the terms, interpretation, or performance of the services will be governed by the laws of Delhi jurisdiction.

  • Bookings will be considered confirmed only upon acceptance of the above terms and conditions by the passenger.

SPECIAL NOTE:

1. All taxes, entrance fees, airfare, and hotel/transport rates are as of date. Any future increase will be charged extra.

2. The above rates are valid from May to June 2025.

3. The above is only an offer. We are not holding any bookings at this stage. Booking would be subject to availability once confirmed by you along with guest details and a guarantee to book.
