Day 1. Delhi to Haridwar (240 km/ 4.3 hours)
On the first day of your trip, enjoy a scenic ride from Delhi to Haridwar which is around 230 km. On your way to Haridwar, get your Biometric registration done for the Char Dham Yatra. This is important because people cannot do Yatra without it. Upon reaching there, check in at your pre booked hotel and refresh. There, you can relax for a while and in the evening, go out and visit the attractions of Haridwar like Har ki Pauri. Experience the magical Ganga Aarti there and then you can spend some calming time on the banks of the Ganga river. Later, return to your hotel on time to have dinner and then rest for the night inside your comfy rooms.
Day 2. Haridwar to Barkot (175 km/ 5.6 hours)
On the second day of your Char Dham Package, wake up early as you leave for Barkot or Jankichatti. This is a beautiful hill station that is located at a distance of around 220 km from Haridwar. On the way, you’ll drive through Mussorie, and on the way, you can even take a halt at the famous Kempty Falls of Mussorie. Spend some time there and then continue your journey to Jankichatti. This hill station is on the foot of Yamunotri which is the first Dham of your Char Dham Yatra Package. Upon reaching this hill station, check in to your pre-booked hotel or camp and then you can relax there. The ride can be long so maybe you can sleep. On this day of your tour, relax as much as you can and gain energy for the Pahad (hiII) Yatra of Yamunotri for the next day. You can have dinner at night and then stay in the hotel for the night.
Day 3. Barkot to Yamunotri & Return {45.6 km & 6 km Trek (one side)}
On the 3rd day of your trip, start the day with a heavy breakfast. Then, you can take a drive to Hanumanchatti (10 Km), and Janki Chatti (5 km). This is the last point where the vehicle can go. After this, to reach one of the Char Dhams, you have to trek for 6 km. If you don’t feel like trekking then you can even hire a palki, ponies, or a horse at your own cost. During the trek, you’ll pass through greenery all around filled with conifer trees, rhododendrons, cacti, and various Himalayan shrubs. The holy Yamunotri Dham is located at an altitude of 3,291 m and it lies in the Bandarpunch range (6,361 meters). This Dham marks the origin of the sacred Yamuna ride which is believed to be the twin sister of Varna, lord of the death, and the daughter of Surya, the Sun God. The source of the Yamuna river is the Champasar Glacier which is located 1 km ahead of the sacred Yamunotri Dham at an altitude of 4,321 metres. After a sacred trek of 6 km, upon reaching there, you can take a holy dip in the holy Yamuna river. After that, perform the Pooja at the temple and take blessings. After the Darshan, you have to return to Barkot via the same route. Have a delicious dinner in your hotel and then relax for the night.
Day 4. Barkot to Uttarkashi (82 km/ 2.8 hours )
Start the 4th day of your tour with a heavy breakfast and then you have to check out. On this day of your Char Dham Package, you’ll drive towards Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, you have to check in at the hotel there which is included in your Char Dham Tour Booking. Relax for some time inside your rooms and then you can explore this place. This spot is famous because of its historical monuments, Temples & Ashrams. You can explore the sites and then in the evening, visit the famous Vishwanath Temple. Later, you can have a delicious dinner and then stay overnight in your comfortable accommodation.
Day 5. Uttarkashi to Gangotri & Return (195 km/ 6.7 hours)
On this day of your tour, have a nice breakfast in the morning and then drive to the sacred Gangotri Dham. This pilgrimage site is located in the famous Garhwal Himalayas and is set at an altitude of 3048 m. During the ride, you can see nice views of the snowy peaks and a lot of greenery. Upon reaching there, take a holy dip in the sacred river of Bhagirathi which originates from the Gaumukh Glacier (located around 19 km from the temple). The river is considered to be the physical form of Goddess Ganga, descending to earth after the intense penance of King Bhagirath to cleanse the sins of his ancestors. After that, visit the Gangotri temple and take blessings. This temple is an 18th-century temple which is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. This holy spot is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshiped Lord Shiva. Hindu believes that the Ganga touched the earth at this spot. According to legends, Goddess Ganga descended to earth at this very spot to bless mankind. After taking part in Pooja and taking the blessings, return to Uttarkashi and then relax in your hotel. Day 6. Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (199 km/ 6.9 hours)
The day 6th of your Char Dham Yatra Package is for going to Guptkashi. Have a nice breakfast in the morning and then drive towards Guptkashi. This spot is around 47km from the next Kedarnath Dham. Upon reaching the hotel in Guptkashi, check-in and then refresh. After some relaxing time, you can explore this religious spot. It houses some famous temples like Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnarishwar Temple. Later, you can get your medical checkup done for your next day’s journey to Kedarnath. Have a flavourful dinner at night and then rest in your comfy accommodation.
Day 7. Guptkashi to Sonprayag (30 km by road) & Kedarnath Jee (20 km Trek)
On the 7th day of your tour, have a nice breakfast in the morning inside your hotel and then you have to check out. On this day, you will go to drive to Sonprayag (30 km, approximately 1 hour). Sonprayag is the endpoint for the vehicle allowance, from there, you will begin a challenging yet spiritually rewarding 20 km trek to Kedarnath Dham. If you’re not interested in trekking then you can take Doli, ponies, or a horse, for your trek at your own extra cost. As you trek, you’ll walk along the sacred Mandakini River, which originates from Kedarnath Glacier and flows through Gaurikund. You can even listen to chants of "Jai Bholenath" and experience the spiritual atmosphere around you. Upon reaching there, check into the Government Camps/Lodges for rest and relaxation. Enjoy a wholesome dinner and stay overnight at Kedarnath under the starry sky
Day 8. Return to Guptkashi (20 km Trek) and (30 km by road)
Waking up early morning is important on this day. The 8th day of your Char Dham Tour Booking is scheduled for doing darshan at Kedarnath Temple. This is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and holds immense significance in Hindu mythology. Get up before the dawn and then take a holy bath. By 4:45 am reach the temple for the ‘Abhishek’ to Kedarnath lord Shiva. Reaching the temple early morning allows tourists to go inside Garbha Griha and touch the idol. After the Darshan, take part in pooja and then return to your government Lodge or Camp. Later, you’ll return to Sonprayag after a 20km trek. The vehicle of Daily Tour & Travel will be waiting for you in the parking area. Then, from Sonprayag, drive back to Guptkashi and stay in a hotel for the night after having a delicious dinner.
Day 9. Guptkashi to Badrinath Temple (193 km/ 6.1 hours)
The 9th day of your Char Dham Yatra Package is for going to the last Dham of your package. Check out from your hotel at 08:00 AM after a nice breakfast and then drive towards Badrinath via Joshimath. During the ride, you can see scenic views of the Himalayan peaks. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is set at an altitude of 3,133 meters. This temple is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites of India and it holds an immense significance among Hindus and Buddhists. On your arrival at Badrinath, check in to your hotel and then take some time to relax and refresh. In the evening, you can go for Darshan at the sacred Badrinath Temple. But, before entering the temple, you can take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund, a natural hot spring believed to have medicinal and spiritual properties. It is said that bathing in the Tapt Kund purifies the soul and prepares devotees for Darshan. According to legend, Lord Vishnu meditated at Badrinath while his consort, Goddess Lakshmi, took the form of a Badri tree to shield him from the harsh weather. Inside the temple, the main deity is Lord Badri Vishal in a meditative posture, carved from a single black stone of Shaligram. After taking the blessings, return to your hotel and have a wholesome dinner. Rest for the night in your comfy rooms.
Day 10. Badrinath Jee to Joshimath & Rudraprayag (151 km/ 4.6 hours drive one way)
Start the 10th day of your Char Dham Package by visiting Badrinath Temple for Darshan. Later, return to your hotel, and then you can go on a sightseeing tour in the area. Visit the popular areas like the Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple. By the afternoon, return to your hotel and check out. Move towards the famous Rudraprayag via Joshimath. On the way, you can take a halt at Karanprayag. Then, continue your journey and check in to the hotel at Rudraprayag and relax for some time. This spot holds great significance and religious importance. This is one of the five Prayag of Alaknanda River. It is believed that Lord Shiva appeared here in the form of Rudra to bless Narad Muni. Later in the day, you can visit the attractions like Rudranath Temple, Chamunda Devi Temple, and others. Return to your hotel on time and have a fulfilling dinner. Day 11. Rudraprayag to Rishikesh and Exploration (175 km/ 4.7 hours)
On the 11th day of your tour, you will drive downhill to Rishikesh which is included in your Char Dham Tour Booking. This is a sacred city often called the "Yoga Capital of the World." This yoga town is located at the foothills of the Himalayas along the banks of the sacred River Ganga. Upon reaching this yoga capital, check in to your pre-booked hotel and then you can relax for some time. Later in the day, go out for sightseeing in the popular spots of this city like Ram Jhula & Laxman Jhula. In the evening, you can attend the magical Ganga Aarti which is an auspicious and holiest ritual performed on the Ghat of Rishikesh. Learn about the Hindu culture and experience it here. Day 12. Rishikesh to Delhi & Goodbyes (246 km/ 4.8 hours)

Every year, the Chardham Yatra takes place on or before the Akshaya Tritya. The Gangotri Temple and Yamunotri Temple open before this most of the time. However, the Chardham Yatra mainly opens after the Kedarnath Temple opening. This usually happens in late April or in May.
